Story Time Felts with Nikole

Felts, never had them before, but I oh so very love them. I love the imaginative play. I love that it's QUIET! =o) Not only is this something Ansel can use, but Madilyne loves it too. Even better, Madilyne loves doing the rhymes with Ansel. 

I got the nursery rhymes set 

with the CD, and I also got the Nursery Rhymes toggle set. 

I can fit this in the bag for church and keep my two youngest fairly quiet.  

The down side...you have to cut everything out lol. That is tedious but other then that I love them.

The felt is thick so it's not likely to rip, and the pictures are printed nicely onto the fabric.

The joy it brings to see the bigger kids reading to their baby brother, and the smiles and giggles between the them are memories I will cherish forever.

When Jordon contacted me to review her taggy block I was excited. I loved the textile blocks. I love that it's soft so when Ansel is in his snarky mood and decides to throw, no one is going to get hurt.

 Which as you can see, throwing is the favorite pass time with this toy.
She not only has these fantastic blocks, she offers the applique of the initial, or embroidery.

She also offers full names sets!

I think I may go back for a full name set. How cool would that be to use to help Ansel learn his name?
I also think these round ones are super cute as well.

So I chose the hungry caterpillar polka dots for Ansel's block.
I had originally wanted to just do the letter applique, but he has not very much with his full name on it. Jordon was so very kind to do his full name.

I love this block. Ansel asks for it all the time...for $6 a block with the appliqued letter you can't go wrong! Jordon also offers crinkle and embroidery for a nominal fee.

Jordon has been amazing and she is offering up a block to a winner with an appliqued letter.

New review time lines...

Alright due to me being very tired and life, I will be posting reviews from now on Mondays, and they will run for entries until Saturday 11pm est. Anything time stamped after that I will not count, I will draw and announce winners by 11:30 barring any unforseen issues. And that leaves sunday for me and my family...

 

I have been running late late late nights, and looooong days. I'm worn out and will not be able to keep going at this rate if I don't find myself a break.  It is almost a full time job finding sponsors for review, as well as my house has been a wreck recently. I don't want to neglect my family and house duties, I need to leave more time to just be Mom. 

School gets behind, house work gets behind, things get lost and that's unprofessional. I do not want that to happen any more. So this change is needful. I am grateful for the fans, for my sponsors, for everyone just in general. I will also be opening up ad space and will be posting more details on that shortly.

I of course love hair pretties for Madilyne. Madilyne loves to look like a princess, she loves her babies to look like a princess with her. I have used ALL these hair pretties on Madilyne, there is missing a super cute head band with a turquoise flower. I think it walked off with one of my nieces, though it could still be around here. We love that head band, it actually stays in her hair. The flower looked similar to this...

It's on a brown elastic head band. I should have taken pictures of everything before I put them up...DOH.

The rest of these clippies are spankin.

I love the variety, and I love those red flowers, they are hair pin flowers(doh, I do love the hair pin flowers, but Melissa notified me that they were not hers. She sent some that are similar but on alligator clips! Don't I feel a fool!) When I find them I'll take pictures. I'm sure they are in the princesses room some where! The detail and time put into these clips is very apparent.
There is no stray glue strings, no fraying ribbon, and everything is precise.

The princess just wouldn't let me do her hair for pictures, She insisted that her American Girl doll get the make over instead.

These clips could do just a part or embellish a pony.

This hair style is super easy, just pull two pieces of hair from underneath the pony criss cross them and clip it. Easy cheesy pony tail.

These clips are very versatile and oh so adorable.

Brandi's Hair Candy

I was in desperate need of some way to keep her bows and hair things in order. I had a little box that holds the elastics and the water bottle, but her hair bows were crazy all over the place. 

Brandi has these SMASHING bow holders. I knew I HAD to have one. Brandi was amazing, she not only agreed to a review and give away, but she was able to get this to me before Christmas. I was over the moon to be able to have this amazing custom bow holder. I chose pink and black for the princess. Brandi went above and beyond and caught the princess completely by adding cute little rhinestones.

I love that it has three ribbon strips, and gives us PLENTY of room for all our bows and MORE!

The half black half pink just got me tickled.

 

I love the detail of the hand glued rhinestones, and decoupage pink and white paper.

The contrasting pink polka dot and black and white stitched ribbon, just lovely.

This will last us for oh so very many bows! To top it all off, when I opened the package there were TONS of bows and ponies in there as well..overall I think you can't go wrong!
