So we addressed that my little girl is THE princess right? 

What more could a princess want then a super cute tutu?

She is very girly girl, but I already had a black and pink tutu that I am not so much a fan of. It was cheaply made and not full at all. I was honestly a little skeptical getting yet ANOTHER tutu. 

However, when I agreed to the offer from Kathryn & Angelina  at Something Sassy Tutu's & More, I became excited. They let me peruse the store and choose any tutu I wanted. I settled on customizing my Own. I wanted something pretty but not the usual pink that she has in everything. 

With 18 different colors and 3 different styles to choose from online, it made the decision making part VERY hard! They are also in Canada so I thought I was in for a VERY long shipping wait. 

After I made my choices they got right on it. Within two days of me giving my choice the tutu was on the way! It took 5 days to come which was much quicker then I had anticipated. 

 My princess LOVES it!

it's really full, and I LOVE LOVE LOVE the knots! Very unique and oh so sassy and cute! here are some additional views.

Flower Bows by Jessica

Time for some really cute hair bows! I LOVE hair bows. Madilyne is my princess through and through. I do her hair all the time, so hair bows are a MUST.

I love the big gerbera daisy clips goin’ on, lately. I didn’t have one. So when Jessica from Flowerbows by Jessica said she’d like me to do a review I was ALL over it. I chose a nice neutral color so we could use it with a lot of different outfits.

She also sent me a set of clippies and a super cute Christmas bow. 

I had these grand plans of showing you all sorts of different ways to do hair and use the bows; but when I went to do hair I couldn’t find a single one of my hair combs to work with. I was lucky to get this hairstyle done without screaming!

But look how versatile these bows are. I was able to work them each into the style for a different look.

I love how the Christmas bow isn't just the normal red and green. I can put it with some nice browns an other colors and it will go perfectly!

The bows are reasonably priced as well, shipping was only about three days, not too shabby I must say, and if you spend $30 or more, shipping is free!

I can’t tell you how super excited I am to get to do this review. I only wanted a coupon code when I contacted Anna at BabyLegs. I had purchased some cute Halloween legwarmers and I was going to give a pair away. Can you imagine how shocked I was when I was offered a chance to do a full product review? I was floored and over the moon!

I was given at least one of each of their product line up. Did you know they have socks and tights AND footless tights? Yup they sure do!

Love Thang

Madilyne is 6, so I thought it would be a stretch to get the tights on her, but because they were footless they fit smashingly! Really soft and sturdy. I would totally feel ok with her going out to play in these.

The socks were worn and washed and worn, so no pictures of those soft babies in action. The fit was great and they also have non-slip grips on the bottom, which were awesome for my wood floors.

I was able to get pictures of the tights in action, and the leg warmers.

The fit on the leg warmers are amazing. The pink ones on my niece also fit Madilyne. Ansel is always sporting his simply because they are an easy to use solution to the boy growing so fast that I don’t have very many pair of pants that fit him. It makes changing diapers a snap!

Overall I am still in love with these and it was a pleasure to work with The BabyLegs Company. BabyLegs has really good communication and fast responses to email, fast shipping, and just down to earth really nice people.  Thanks so much BabyLegs!

 Laura was so generous to offer up an item from her store for a review. I think had it been a blog I would have been considered a blog stalker LOL

I emailed her originally at the end of September, and she said she takes the first 3 at the beg of the month, so I waited, and stalked until Midnight on the 1st LOL I really wanted something to review from her! Laura decided she wanted me to check out Rockin Green detergent.Happy Cottontails  is located in Bountiful Utah, So you’d think that shipping would take for ever right? NOPE lightning fast! Most orders from her store go out same day!

Lets talk a little about customer service… Something I feel that is super important for a company. You have nothing if you do not have good customer service.  When I emailed Laura with questions I got responses within 24hrs, usually same day! I also had the opportunity to converse over email with Kim CEO of Rockin Green, she was able to reply even while she was at the baby expo in Vegas.

I rocked a soak on my dish towels, and eww is all I can say! This is what the water looked like when I was done.

My stinky dish towels no longer stink, they are clean and fresh.

I was searching for wet bags, but I had a specific size in mind. I wanted a bag to hang in the hall bathroom. I also wanted a fabric that went with the paint in there and would hang on a hook or the doorknob in there. I needed it to be large enough to fit several cloth prefolds in as well as have a dry side to store clean ones in. I was looking for an 18x30 inch bag, and it couldn’t cost an arm and a leg. Vickie from 3 Tiny Blessings stepped up to the challenge! I emailed her a picture of one that I liked and boy did she ever deliver. 

I also wanted a larger small sized wet bag for my diaper bag and that would go with it. I asked for 11x14 size and I emailed her a picture of my diaper bag to try to match to. I love the fabric she chose and the colors match perfectly.  It even has a snapping loop in addition to handles. It makes toting easy and keeping it wrangled to the diaper bag is a cinch too!

These wash well and I just throw them in with the diapers when I do them.  One thing I’d change is tacking the inside nylon layer because in the large bag it comes out and stuffing it back in is a pain in the behind. I conveyed this to Vickie and she agrees and will be making a design change. I don’t have the problem with the smaller one though.

When Ashley contacted me I was caught a little off guard, I love when people want me to review things for them. I love it even more when they contact me, I really dig this job!

I went perusing her website looking for something that caught my eye, to my extreme surprise I found something that I wanted for each of my kids! That is a bonus right there, I love finding shops where I can get all the kids something at once.

I emailed her a list of things I dug, something for each and let her pick.

She sent me these fabulous roll ups!

The colored pencil roll was for my daughter, she is an artist at heart, and at 6 a very serious one. She loves to have her supplies at her fingertips. We also go to church every Sunday and she colors and what not during the main meeting.  She loved that she didn’t have anything to clean up or have to hunt for her colored pencils. She took out what she wanted to use and put it right back. I can say it made clean up super easy, just roll everything together, tie it up, and toss into the bag!

The colored pencils came with the roll up. Ashley chose the fabric and I must say, so super cute for my little princess. She gives it an A+!

She also sent me this spankin chalk mat roll up. I mean really, you can do that? It was perfect, flexible and easy to roll up, writes like a charm, came with a super cute little wipe and two pieces of chalk. James likes to write random things to show me and then move on, this was easy for him. He used to sport a magna doodle but at 9 he feels like that is a little babyish for him to use now. The fabric was oh so cool and very appealing my his 9 year old self. 

 

Overall, everything is just fantastic. She has tons of fabric choices, lots of very cute stuff, so much I couldn’t just decide! I know for sure I’ll be back to get some other things!

Time Out For Mommy

I am very good at dividing my time between my kids. Sadly I haven’t included time for myself in that division. Time for me has always been put on the back burner, I like most Mom’s spread themselves thin, caring for kids, husband, and home leaves you just plain tired. 

When Alexis first contacted me she didn’t even have a name for her business. She was passionate though about what she was going to be doing. Alexis said “I know mommy’s need to take care of themselves, too, and I want to fill that need! “ She was determined and she just knew I’d love her stuff. So nameless we continued to set up a review, she had me pick from a selection of scents and asked what color I liked. 

The Scents I had to choose from were:

Eucalyptus mint

Honey almond

Tropical Temptation

Mandarin bergamot

Cucumber and green tea

Sun ripened fruit

Fresh linen

Lavender vanilla

I settled on Almond Honey and Fresh Linen.  And blue is my very favorite color. 

I love getting mail, it makes me happy!

Everything came all wrapped up and pretty.

She sent me a body wash 

and sugar and salt scrub that was Honey Almond,

an, oh so very pretty blue Fresh Linen bath bar 

 I took off the wrapper and found a lovely embossed design on it

and BONUS a massaging Mandarin bergamot soap bar!

I took the time to actually take a bath, now it might have been at 2 am but I took the time =o) Everything felt lovely. The salt and sugar scrub made my legs oh so very soft, and felt like a little massage. The body wash is exfoliating too, and very clean rinsing, leaving you feeling clean, not feeling slimy or anything. 

I loved the smell of the soap bars, they were not too overpowering but not wimpy either. I really dig the massaging one, makes cleaning somewhat fun haha.

Alexis has since come up with a name for her store, Time Out For Mommy, but is lacking in names for her products so look on the facebook page for a naming contest for her lotion! Winner will recieve one 4oz trial of the product named.
