Jude's Cure

Ok so Jude's Cure has an amazing story behind it, an excerpt from her about me "I am a work at home mom who makes cute clothes and other baby items. 10% of my profits go to Cystic Fibrosis research. My son Jude was diagnosed with CF at 2 weeks old. I am dedicated to helping find a cure for him and all other CFers." 10% of all her profits go to the research for the cure of Cystic Fibrosis.

I didn't even contact Kristy, she contacted me and offered up this fantastic outfit for Ansel. I was so happy. I love it, I pet it, I wash it, and then I ruin it. 

Yup you heard right, RUINED! Ansel hadn't even gotten to wear it yet, I washed it once. I had thrown all the clothes that I just got into the washer not thinking about the red shirts causing any issue. Funny enough I had the shirt from Chubby Cheeks in there with it too and it came out sparkly white. I have No idea why  the cuffs, butt panel and the part of the moose that was the same fabric took on the dye. 

So I asked for help, everyone said RIT dye remover would do the trick to get the pink out. 

Boy oh Boy did it get the pink out =O(

And every other cute color too.

So I am laundry challenged, stupid me didn't think anything about it taking the dye out of everything. 

I want to cry, I want to turn back time to the day I opened the package with this beautiful outfit for my baby boy. I want to smack myself for washing it with the red shirts...you get the idea.

Besides the color change, the outfit fits him wonderfully. The pants are made with the Big Butt Baby pants pattern by Rae. Love them! alot. Kristy sells these sets for only $25 each!

 

I like the extra wideness in the rump. Gives him lots of room without feeling squished.

 

That's as close as I could get by myself of him full view. I would love to get another outfit that is the true vivid lovely colors, and will most likely do so in the near future. Look at how much cuter it would be if it was like this set...

Kristy has several other very cute items, her little boy just turned 1 like Ansel did!
