Wooo fluff! I do luv da fluff! I love all the WAHM fluff especially. I love that I can support a fellow WAHM. Libby was so kind, this past Christmas she found it in her schedule and in her heart to donate four diapers to the families from The Christmas Fairy. Total because of her and the others we were able to provide 3 families with at least 10 diapers! What is so intriguing and different about HootHootBaby?
I dig her natural fabrics, from her website "My products are made from printed cotton knit, organic bamboo fleece (70% viscose from bamboo, 30% organic cotton), and organic cotton velour."
Look at this super cute print! Every diaper come with a cute stamped tag and a wash cloth.
Ansel is a super wetter so I asked if she could include her heavy wetter insert.
This is what I got.
So from left to right, the top soaker has snaps on the underside, which snap to the fitted, also has the capability to add the double in the middle for more protection and absorption. The middle can snap to the top making a two layer insert. The far right is the extra little booster for night time. Each layer is 3 layers of fabric so if you add all three, you have 9 layers of absorbency.
I put this diaper on Ansel with all the inserts and actually forgot to put a cover on him. He wore the diaper for 12 hours. When I got him up and changed him I was worried I'd have a soaked baby. He was just a little wet but certainly not soaked to the bone.
I can get away with just one of the inserts for normal daily wear, if I want to put him down for a nap I can add in the middle soaker. I have used the third when we go on long trips or over night. Ansel likes to sleep so sometimes he has the diaper on for 12+ hours.
The diaper has two rise snaps, and two different hip snaps. Ansel wears it typically on the second snap and the farthest hip snap. He has a lot of wear in this diaper still.
This is all three soakers in. Not too crazy bulky.
There are cross over snaps and Ansel wears them with one of the snaps crossed over.
Oooo Cute baby fluffy bum!
So here is the only thing I am not thrilled about with this diaper.
The leg casing is pretty wide. It seems to make it a little more bulky in his leg creases then other diapers. After talking to Libby about this, she said all I had to do was let her know and my next one she'll cut it differently for me. I look forward to adding more of these amazingly cute and functional diapers to my stash....wouldn't you?
Libby has offered to one lucky fan a diaper in their choice of print!
